This space is open during morning services for infants through age three. There is a place to nurse, change diapers, and places for little ones to play, crawl, and otherwise be on the move. The worship service is streamed here so you can still participate in worship. Our children’s team works to have simple lessons available for children who are ready to receive learning.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
(3 yrs - 5th grade)
At both services, we bless and send children 3 yrs - 5th grade to their Worship spaces in the Fellowship building.
Our children’s ministry leaders present Bible lessons through a Montessori method called “Children’s Liturgy of the Word.” Our model forms children in the knowledge of God and guides them toward mutual love with our Good Shepherd.
At 8:30 AM, the Children’s Liturgy includes the family room for children birth to age 3, an age 3-4 year-old class, and a Kindergarten Plus class.
At 10:30 AM, the Children’s Liturgy includes The Family room for children birth to age 4, a Kindergarten Plus class, and a 3rd-grade through 5th-grade class that gives students the Word of God through printed materials and conversation; this prepares them for worship with the congregation in their middle school years.
