Youth Confirmation
We are so excited that you want to be confirmed! This is an important part of a Christian’s life. Simply put, confirmation is a rite in the church where an individual- anytime after they are baptized- takes ownership of their faith, is prayed over by the Bishop for an increase in gifting of the Holy Spirit, and is anointed with oil. Below you will find the Confirmation Youth Letter that will go over this in more detail. Also, you will find the student Contract Form in case you are ready to take this step in your faith. We would love to see you make this commitment and help your grow closer to God in the process.
How do we do confirmation?
MOdules and meetings
In order to teach our students everything they need to know, we have created online modules for them to complete at home on their own time. As they take the step forward to claim their faith as their own, the modules help enforce that. They are designed to be 30 minutes each and will go through three main areas of focus: Spirituality, Morality, and Doctrine. We have split the material into 6 modules which are God(Father, Son, and Spirit), Jesus/Redemption, The Story of the Bible: Old Testament, The Story of the Bible: New Testament, Tools for a Faithful Servant (Spiritual Disciplines), and Characteristics of a Christ Follower (Morality).
Below you will find a button that will take you to the different modules. After the button will be listed additional resources. The additional resources are not required for you to be confirmed. They are simply there for you in case you would like to go into further study on your own. Our prayer is that your journey through our Confirmation process will provide you the tools needed to be a faithful servant of God and that he would work great things in and through you.
